1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
4–6 fresh basil leaves
2 oz silver tequila
1 oz triple sec (or orange liqueur)
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
½ oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)

Muddle strawberries and basil leaves in a shaker until well crushed and juicy.
