  • 12 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced (optional)

  • Salt, to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Wash and trim the woody ends off the asparagus.

  3. Place asparagus on a baking sheet.

  4. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with minced garlic (if using), salt, and pepper.

  5. Toss to coat evenly.

  6. Spread the asparagus in a single layer.

  7. Roast for 12–15 minutes, or until tender and slightly crispy.

  8. Serve hot with lemon wedges, if desired.
