Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped

  • 4 cups water

  • 2 black tea bags (or green tea if preferred)

  • 23 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • Ice cubes

  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Boil water in a pot. Once boiling, remove from heat and steep the tea bags for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bags and let it cool.

  • Prepare mango puree by blending chopped mangoes until smooth. Optionally, strain for a smoother texture.

  • Combine cooled tea, mango puree, sweetener, and lemon juice in a pitcher. Mix well.

  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours.

 

  • Serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness to your liking using honey, agave syrup, or sugar.

  • For a fizzier version, mix in sparkling water before serving.

 

  • Green tea can be substituted for a lighter flavor.
