  • For the Cream Cheese Swirl:
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1 large egg
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    • Orange food coloring

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Stir in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Pour into prepared pan.
  • In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Add orange food coloring.
  • Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture onto brownie batter. Use a knife to swirl the two together.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until set. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
