  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Empanada dough (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat oil for frying.
  • In a skillet, sauté the onion, garlic, and bell pepper until soft.
  • Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
