  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix panko, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, black pepper, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk the egg with hot sauce and soy sauce.
  • Dip salmon pieces into the egg mixture, then coat with the seasoned panko mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Fry salmon bites for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne for more or less spice.
  • Use an air fryer at 400°F for a healthier option (cook for 8-10 minutes).
