These Christmas M&M Cookies are soft, chewy, and loaded with festive red and green M&Ms. Perfect for holiday parties or as a sweet treat to share, these cookies are easy to make and bring a cheerful touch to your celebrations!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Christmas M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in the M&Ms and chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing cookies about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
