  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (4 oz) green chilies
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups cooked egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, brown ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced tomatoes, green chilies, cream of mushroom soup, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, mix sour cream with half the shredded cheese.
  • Layer cooked noodles in a baking dish, spread the beef mixture over, and top with sour cream mixture.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and cheese is melted.
